What is it?
A negatively charged chemical compound with a distinctive bitter taste, traces are naturally found in earth and water.
Is the addition of fluoride to water supply in an effort to reduce tooth decay.
According to a WHO document issued in 2012, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium,Sweden, Italy, Iceland, Finland, Greece, Japan and Norway have completely abstained from this practice. Whilst Ireland has 100% , Australia 80%, USA 64%, and England 11% fluoridated water.

A Harvard study in 2006 concluded that boys who drink fluoridated water are 5 times more likely to develop bone cancer. The study led to the Environmental Working Group urging communities not to add fluoride and to avoid giving fluoridated water to their children.
Another study carried out by the University of Southern Denmark concluded that fluoride poisoning can lead to lung and bladder cancer.
A research report published in the BMJ in February 2015 suggests that in cases of hyperthyroidism, fluoridation should be considered as a contributing factor.
